Dialogue between a
traditionalist and a Multigenrist
The following is an imagined conversation between a secondary school teacher that teaches a research paper exclusively [Mr. Smith] and a believer of multigenre research projects [Mr. Larson]. The conversation is invented, but some statements are actual responses (or based on actual responses) from an English teacher in the Fargo-Moorhead area, Aryelle Jones Schiller. The purpose of this dialogue is to offer an imagined back-and-forth as teachers struggle to identify their own philosophies on research projects.
